'Amigo' - The Little Horse With a Big Heart.

Life Adventure Center has a very special resident on our farm.  He goes by the name 'Amigo' and he is a Miniature Horse.  Amigo travels to schools with his special sneakers to visit children in classrooms who have special needs. His calm disposition, gentle spirit, and approachable size make learning fun!  Our 'Amigo' program is custom designed to meet the needs to children within the FMD classroom.  This program can be done in a one time session or mulitweek sessions. Lesson topics include: grooming, care of the horse, leading the horse, life skills (navigating an obstacle course that includes recognizing relevant street signs/traffic lights), body parts, counting, and of course...loving on Amigo!
